Situated in Orford's market square sits the Pump Street Bakery. This is an excellent bakery with high quality, albeit expensive, bread. There is also a superb selection of cakes, pastries, savouries and now a range of chocolate.In addition to the bakery there is a small cafe and eating area serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, but do check as this is not open every day.When we go to Orford we always visit the Bakery, it's not a place you should miss.

Absolutely delicious! There's a long table where everyone eats and we had the good fortune to sit next to a lovely couple and had a lovely chat.We'll be back very soon.
I don't have many favourites but the Pump Street Bakery is without a doubt my favourite bakery in the UK. It offers the most incredible fresh, tasty and downright original baked goods which you'll have likely never heard of before. You can eat in communally along a long bench or there's a small seating area outside. Highly, highly recommended to anyone visiting Orford on holiday.
Had breakfast at this lovely bakery many times and its absolutely lovely. Prices are a bit expensive but worth the money you pay for. Dishes use their own baked goods and locally sourced food, staff are all friendly and happy to help you, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it all tastes excellent! They make their own chocolate as well as bakery stuffs which is delicious, my personal favourite being the sourdough and sea salt bars! If youre on a trip of the Suffolk coast this is an excellent spot to visit, only a short few minutes walk or an even shorter drive to the quay. I recommend you add it to your list!
