About as good a station cafe as you can ever hope to find. Lovely cakes, beautifully made coffee, well kept beer, fair prices.

My visit was on a warm Autumn day, sat outside with friend - we were served tea and sandwiches..altogether a pleasant short and sweet interlude early afternoon.
It's rare to find cafes as good as this on stations these days. A good range of hot and cold drinks, delicious cakes and snacks and welcoming and helpful staff in an attractive location just next to the station. It's a definite asset to the station and the town.
