Beautiful building, but poorly run and organised. Dinner menu was so restricted we went into Woodbridge itself to eat. Breakfast was good quality, but low quantity, a local cafe could easily compete. Spa facility is really nice, fortunately we went in before it got too busy, as it is not big enough to cater for the hotel, and the spa days it offers.
An amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly and professional. Room of a very high standard. Comfortable, well fitted, light and spacious. There was a good variety of food which was well cooked hot and tasty. The restaurant service was excellent. The spa staff and treatment could not be faulted. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The hotel and its setting made for a perfect stay. The updated rooms and new maitre d made for a perfect stay. We hope to return later this year.
Fantastic tudor hotel. Great relaxed atmosphere. Spa lovely. Beds clean and comfy. Food a little pricey but very good. Will be back.
The grounds and did here were very pleasant. Be aware on the ceilings in some of the rooms if you are tall as you may get a few surprises. If have to say that I found the room I stated in to be very tired /dated. I wouldn't expect minimalism here as it's not that sort of building but there is a real need to freshen the paintwork and carpets/ curtains up. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Lovely staff, good food, great en suite and spa facilities, beautiful Tudor house and gardens. Quiet and peaceful. The Standard room we had was no frills and the steps up into the room were a bit off putting but the bed was huge, warm and very comfortable. Would recommend it as a short or long stay location.
