This pub has been a firm favourite for a few years now. Good beers but limited to Adnams as it's tied. Warm staff and a good clientele.
First ever visit. Excellent range of beers. Unusual menu, but food excellent. Definitely go again.
Always enjoy a drink and a social meet with friends here. Great atmosphere, nice selection of beers. As a cider drinker it would be nice to see some interesting ciders, but it's not a clincher. Staff are friendly and welcoming and food is good too. In short it's a good proper pub.
Very popular pub with reasonably priced food. The beer was good and the food was good too. Quite crowded on a Friday night, as you would expect. Good fun atmosphere.
We had a lovely lunch here for a reasonable price. The brie and bacon sandwich was enormous in all ingredients. You won't starve of you eat here. We've also been to their quiz nights which are very well run and well attended. This is an Adnams pub, so good beers and find as well! Highly recommended.
