Very nice pub with good service and good food. Duck and tuna were overcooked but we were 45 min late on our booking for 18 persons. Cheese board was really good and generous

Called in on a wet Saturday lunchtime for a light lunch as we were meeting friends for supper elsewhere later. Wonderful ambiance, excellent staff - for which nothing was too much trouble - and the nicest, best presented smoked haddock I have eaten! All washed down with a wonderful pint of Adnams Ghost Ship. Sue ordered kedgeree from the brunch menu which arrived as a huge portion but equally enjoyable with plenty of smoked haddock. Whats not like! Well done the Turks Head.
Food not cheap stuff but first rate. Friendly bar staff and dogs much appreciated, with food, water and stroking. Stuff they do for local community is good too.
